Region Zealand is safe and secure

Region Zealand is a welcoming and liveable place offering a great environment to raise your family.  Outside the capital of Copenhagen,  many small but vibrant towns offer career opportunities, international schools, and just the right balance of peaceful country living and social activities. The whole family can join groups that cater to social interests. Plus, your kids will also enjoy the safety and security of being able to bike home from school alone.

Denmark is a welcoming and liveable place with plenty of help to get you settled. For starters, you’ll need a residence permit, a social security number, a health insurance card, and a place to live—organizations like International House Copenhagen,  Work in Denmark, and Life in Denmark are great guides and provide help with the practical side of relocating.
