The State of Denmark organization

The State of Denmark is a service that lists open jobs from companies across Denmark. Right now, we are working specifically to attract professional talent within the construction sector to Region Zealand.

The State of Denmark service is a part of the national project Talent to Denmark. The service is partly funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Danish Board of Business Development.

The State of Denmark campaigns are administered and run by Copenhagen Capacity.

The world's best work-life balance

The average Danish boss would rather see you come in refreshed than stressed. The reasoning: When it comes to qualified work, quality is much more valuable than quantity. Prioritising life outside work isn’t just in the culture. It’s a legal right. The official working week is 37.5 hours, and overtime is often compensated, financially or in saved time off.

Great working conditions

All employees are entitled to a minimum of five weeks of paid vacation yearly – not counting official holidays. Parents enjoy a full year of maternity/paternity leave and often get the first day off in case of sick children, no questions asked. Sounds great, right? All our jobs guarantee these rights.
